Manitoba Health Research Council joins CASRAI

The Manitoba Health Research Council (MHRC) joins the Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI). MHRC is pleased to partner with CASRAI and cooperatively work towards the development of standardized research application information.

“Streamlining application standards benefits both the researcher and the administrator,” says Christina Weise, Executive Director of MHRC. “Creating an efficient system puts time and energy back into the researcher’s hands and gives the funding agency nationwide access to comparable data-sets.”

CASRAI Launches New Research Classification Standards Committee

The new committee will be called the Research Classification Standards Committee and it will have a corresponding Review Circle for wider community consultation. This new addition rounds out our list of standards committees to:

1. Research Personnel, standardizing the data that describe persons doing research;
2. Research Activity, standardizing the data that describes the research they do;
