Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation joins CASRAI

The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) has joined the Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI). The NSHRF is pleased to support CASRAI in their initiative to standardize the semantics and format of research administration data.

“CASRAI’s work to develop research administration standards will be of great assistance to the health research community,” said Krista Connell, CEO of NSHRF. “These standards will help improve the efficiency, accuracy and integrity of the data from health research. Through CASRAI’s work, we will see improvement for researchers and improved access to quality. We look forward to working with CASRAI.”

"NSHRF will be an important participant in the standards development process," said David Baker, Executive Director of CASRAI. "At both the executive and the subject-matter levels, they bring crucial contributions and will work closely with us to expand participation in Nova Scotia and across the country."
