Terms of Reference for Review Circles

Mandate

The mandate of a CASRAI Review Circle is to provide review and comment for a draft standard prepared by the associated Standards Committee before that draft becomes a published data standard and part of the CASRAI dictionary. Review Circle members receive notifications of drafts ready for review. Drafts can be accessed online and comments can be submitted online. Review Circles do not hold teleconference meetings nor do they have Chairs.

Participation

CASRAI Standards Review Circles comprise:

• one subject matter expert from each organization that has joined CASRAI at the Signatory Level, and
• up to five subject matter experts from each organization that has joined at Contributor or Leader levels.

If your organization has joined at the Signatory level you should identify your primary staff subject matter expert to
serve on each of the four review circles. If your organization has joined at Contributor level or above and has appointed your primary staff subject matter experts to each committee, you may want to populate the associated review circles with other staff that may be able to broaden consultation within your organization.
