Types of content licences.

| 1 | CC BY-NC-ND | The most restrictive of the six main Creative Commons licences, permitting others to download and share the work with credit to the creator but not to change it in any way or use it commercially. |
| 2 | CC BY-NC-SA | Permits others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, provided they credit the creator and license their new creations under identical terms. |
| 3 | CC BY-NC | Permits others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially; derivative works must credit the creator but need not be licensed on the same terms. |
| 4 | CC BY-ND | Permits redistribution, commercial or non-commercial, provided the work is passed along unchanged and in whole, with credit to the creator. |
| 5 | CC BY-SA | Permits others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work even commercially, provided they credit the creator and license new creations under identical terms, so that all derivatives also allow commercial use. |
