Distinction
Records an award or other distinction conferred on a person, including its type, awarding institution, country, and effective date.
A distinction records an award or other honor conferred upon a person in recognition of their work or standing.
The object captures the name and type of the award, the institution or body that conferred it, the country and date on which it was given, and, where applicable, a monetary amount and currency. It also carries a research classification linking the honor to the CASRAI-derived structured object model.
