Records a book edited by a person, alone or with others, generally for disseminating research from peer-reviewed funding.

An edited book records a volume edited by a single person or collaboratively, typically to disseminate research or scholarly findings arising from peer-reviewed funding.

The object captures bibliographic details such as title, edition, volume, publisher, publication location, status, and year, together with the editing role and the names of co-authors or co-editors. It also records the first listed author or editor and, where applicable, a PubMed ID, URL, and research classification within the CASRAI-derived structured object model.
