The Newspaper Article object records an article published in a daily, weekly, or monthly publication that reports on news and social issues for the public, and that may include critical analysis grounded in the author’s field of expertise.

Authorship, the newspaper title, volume, edition, section, page range, and publication date and location identify and locate the article, and a research classification situates it within the structured object model for research outputs.
